Pilots reporting on a workshop
In the aftermath of the AF 447 crash, Air France decided that it would not only investigate the cause of the accident, but address the underlying problems it may have signaled. Years of distrust between airline management, pilots, ground staff and unions have significantly affected working conditions within the airline. In an effort to review internal processes, seek to reinstill trust with all stakeholders, and change the organization's culture, Air France has initiated the Trajectoire project. A primary effector of this ambitious project is the Pilots' Conference on Flight Safety, a 400-participant event series that targets Air France’s 4,200 pilots.

Working directly with the Trajectoire team, SpotMe has implemented a 1-day event that features reporting for 6 workshops, an anonymous but transparent Q&A mechanism, as well as a culture assessment tool designed by aviation expert, Prof. Patrick Hudson. SpotMe has supported 6 such conferences since June 2010.
