What is Green?

SpotMe has always been ahead of the green curve in developing a technology platform that could streamline some of the more limiting and wasteful aspects of meetings management, e.g. reducing the amount of printed materials such as business cards, agendas, collateral and banners.

But that's simply not enough...

 

As we all know (but rarely talk about), once you’ve decided to have a meeting, the concept of low-impact quickly becomes irrelevant: the printing, water bottles and other aspects of most meetings are incremental compared with the footprint of flights alone. All the more important to ensure that the meeting be effective and worthwhile, that it bring the success and sustainable behavior that will pay back for the ecological impact of holding it.  That's how we define a Green meeting.
